This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which may vary depending upon the modules. Currently, assessments may include phase tests, individual assignments, or group work elements.

Applicants for UG study will require additional qualifications, such as A Levels or the IB. Students with Certificates in Accountancy can be considered for entry to year one of the Accountancy, Economics, and Money, Banking and Finance programmes, provided a minimum GPA of 3.5 is obtained. In addition, a candidate must reach the appropriate level of English requirement for the particular course. STPM is considered equivalent to A-levels and is acceptable for admissions to the first year of an undergraduate programme. Grades equivalent to the A-level requirement should be achieved in three out of the five subjects studied. There is a reduced tuition fee for the academic year spent in industry or whilst studying abroad .

It also means that you are not disadvantaged by being assessed in any one way. The majority of your teaching will take place in the department, with additional teaching taking place at other locations on Campus East. Many students who have studied in the Philippines have followed a 12 year education system. For admission onto an undergraduate degree programme, the University of Birmingham requires all applicants to have studied for 13 years, and therefore you may need to take a foundation year before commencing your undergraduate programme. One or two years of university level study at a recognised university in Thailand, with a sufficiently high score overall in their university level study (3.0+/4.0), may be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree programme.
