Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh are the tri-gods forming the trinity of the universe as believed by followers of Sanathan Dharma (Hinduism). Seated on a Lotus flower, Lord Brahma is known to be the creator. The one who has created the universe is Lord Brahma. As per the Hindu scriptures Lord Brahma is believed to live for 100 years however one second of Brahma`s life equals to 100 years of human life.

In India, except for Pushkar Temple in Rajasthan and Kumbhakonam temple in Tamil Nadu, there are no other temples to worship Lord Brahma. Apparently it is because of a curse from Lord Shiva for bringing in the feeling of desire into the universe. Nevertheless, Lord Brahma forms a very significant part of Sanathan Dharma.
